Armed Robbery of Circle K Perkins Rd

Baton Rouge Police are investigating the armed robbery of Circle K, 3375 Perkins Rd that occurred around 12:41am this morning.  Two suspects entered the business demanding money.  The suspects grabbed the money and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Suspect #1 is a black male, 18-20 years of age, dark complexion, wearing a plaid shirt, dark pants, and sunglasses and armed with a handgun.  Suspect #2 is a black male, light complexion, 18-25 years of age, wearing a light grey hoodie, dark pants and sunglasses.

Motorcycle Crash Airline Hwy at Old Hammond Hwy
June 20, 2014

Baton Rouge Police are investigating a traffic crash that occurred last night in the 9700 blk of Airline Hwy at Old Hammond Hwy around 12:58am.  Eric Fabre, 20, of Slidell, LA died last night from injuries sustained in the traffic crash.  Fabre was driving a 2013 Honda Ruckus\Scooter north on Airline Hwy when he was struck in the rear end by a red or maroon vehicle.

The driver of that vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival in a northerly direction.

Theft of a Wallet
June 18, 2014

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are attempting to identify the individual in this photo who was involved in the theft of a wallet from a 79 year old male victim on June 8, 2014 at Race Trac located at 3425 South Sherwood Forest.  The victim was loading some items into his vehicle when the suspect came from behind and snatched his wallet.

The suspect then went to numerous stores around Baton Rouge using the victim’s credit card, purchasing items in excess of $500.00.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, thin build, in his 20’s, having dark curly hair and a tattoo on his right forearm.  The suspect was last scene driving a white work van with white metal carriers on the roof.

The Homicide of Colin Ross August 2011
June 17, 2014

On August 10, 2011, Colin Ross and another victim met with some unknown subjects at Mr. Big`s Car Wash located at 2024 Staring Lane.  During the meeting at the carwash, the suspects proceeded to rob the victims.  During the robbery, both victims sustained gunshot wounds with Colin Ross dying as a result.  Detectives obtained video footage and need your help identifyng the subjects in the video.

The victim who was found deceased in a vehicle at 9400 Greenwell Springs Road early this morning has been identified as Earl Wade, 51 years old.  The details surrounding this investigation, including the cause of death, are unclear at this time and are pending autopsy results.

South Baton Rouge Battery

East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man that is accused of battering another man at a business in South Baton Rouge on May 30, 2014.
 
According to reports, an unknown man entered the business through an unauthorized area. When an employee confronted him, he allegedly assaulted him and sprayed the man with pepper spray and fled on foot toward the Gardere area.
 
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, approximately 5’10” to 6’0” in height, weighing approximately 185 lbs and wearing a black shirt, black skull cap, multi-colored shorts and athletic shoes.

Homicide of Adoriji Wilson
June 01, 2014

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in solving a late night homicide. On Sunday, June 1, 2014 shortly before midnight, the sheriff’s office responded to a 911 call on Elizabeth Street in Donaldsonville after receiving a report of an individual being shot and lying on the porch unresponsive. Upon arrival, deputies found 37-year-old Adoriji Wilson had been shot to death. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

 According to Sheriff Wiley, investigators were told that Wilson was on the porch with others when an unidentified suspect walked up and immediately began firing at Wilson. Investigators believe that the shooter was wearing a florescent green rain suit with the hood pulled over his head when he approached and shot Wilson.

 Investigators are currently following up on leads and searching for a motive. Homicide of Nicholos Brumfield

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating a shooting death which occurred on May 31, 2014 at approximately 9:58pm at Red’s Auto Upholstery located at 5737 Greenwell Springs Rd.

 Nicholos Brumfield, 23 an employee of Red’s Auto Upholstery, was located inside the business shot multiple times. The motives and details surrounding this shooting are unclear at this time.

On April 22, 2011 at approximately 2155 hours, Officers were dispatched to a shooting at 2147 Staring Lane, Fuel Zone. Homicide Detectives were summoned to the scene after it was discovered the victim identified as LATEVIN BANKSTON had been shot multiple times. Detectives are still looking for information on the person(s) responsible for this Homicide.
