St. Rose Homicide - January 2020
December 11, 2020

On the evening of Saturday, January 4, 2020, BRPD Officers responded to the 100 block of St. Rose Avenue in reference to a shooting.
 
Upon arrival, the victim, 24 year old Kayzon Tenner (pictured), was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital but did not survive his injuries.
 
As part of the investigation, homicide detectives learned that an unknown individual approached Tenner while he was exiting his residence, began shooting at him and fled the area on foot.

On November 6, 2020, Baton Rouge Police responded to the Jaguar Tire Shop at 6505 Scenic Highway, relative to a shooting. The 28 year old victim, John Mitchell (pictured), was found shot multiple times and pronounced deceased on scene.

FATAL HIT AND RUN ON FLORIDA BOULEVARD
The Baton Rouge Police Department's Traffic Homicide Division is attempting locate a vehicle used in a fatal hit and run of a pedestrian. The crash occurred on September 28, 2020, in the 1700 Block of Florida Blvd.
Attached are the photos detectives provided. The suspect vehicle appears to be a dark colored vehicle driven by a female suspect. The vehicle was last seen heading east on Florida before turning right onto 19th Street.

Deadly Hit and Run on Elm Drive
September 24, 2020

Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department's Traffic Homicide Division are attempting locate a vehicle used in a fatal hit and run of a pedestrian that occurred on 9/9/20, in the 4500 Block. of Elm Drive.
The suspect vehicle is a 2002-2006 Nissan Altima, gray or silver in color. The vehicle will be missing the driver’s side mirror and part of the driver’s side corner of the bumper. Detectives advised there will also be damage to the driver’s side headlight.
 
The attached photo is not the actual suspect vehicle but an example of the make and model Detectives are looking for. The circled areas are where the vehicle should have significant damage.

DENHAM SPRINGS HIT AND RUN
September 18, 2020

The Denham Springs Police Department is investigating a hit and run that occurred on September 13,2020, at approx. 8pm, in the 900 Block of Myrtle Drive. The fleeing vehicle struck a pedestrian who was out walking their dog. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries and the dog remained unharmed.
 
Police were able to gather nearby surveillance footage and believe the attached photos may be the POSSIBLE suspect vehicle in this case.
