5/11/2016 - Belle of Baton Rouge Theft Suspect

Louisiana State Police Troopers are asking for your assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for theft.

On Saturday April 30, 2016, an unidentified black male stole an undisclosed amount of casino chips from the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino. The suspect was last seen walking north in front of the Baton Rouge River Center wearing a black leather jacket, white t-shirt, and dark colored slacks. The suspect was possibly accompanied by two more individuals during this theft.

4/21/2016 - ATTEMPTING TO IDENTIFY SUSPECT

Baton Rouge Police Department Burglary Detectives are currently investigating several vehicle burglaries which occurred during the early morning hours of April 8, 2016. During the burglaries a credit card was stolen.

The stolen credit card was used at the Circle K located at 5505 Airline Hwy at 3:52am on that same day. The video from Circle K showed the pictured suspect using the stolen credit card to purchase cigarettes.

4/18/2016 - EBRSO LOOKING FOR SUSPECT

East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office Detectives are looking for a black male that stole a money bag from the Walmart located at 3132 College Dr. on April 18, 2016.

According to reports, a customer service manager was collecting money from the self-checkout registers, the manager inadvertently left a money bag at the register. The suspect picked up the money bag and exited the store.

4/13/2016 - BURGLARY SUSPECT WANTED

Baton Rouge Police Department Detectives are searching for the individual in the attached photograph who is responsible for burglarizing a vehicle in the 2300 block of Tremont Drive on March 28, 2016 around 1:00pm.

 The suspect removed a credit card from inside the vehicle and then proceeded to the Pep Boys and charged $50.00 worth of merchandise. The suspect then went across the street to the Albertson’s and attempted to charge $250.00, but the transaction was declined

4/12/2016 - EBRSO Looking For Men Using Stolen Card to Buy $23,000 Worth of Gift Cards

East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for three seen stealing a wallet from a woman`s purse while shopping at Costco on April 11, 2016.

 According to reports, the victim was loading groceries into her vehicle in the parking lot when she was approached by three Hispanic men. Two of the men began asking her questions, while the third took the wallet from her purse. The victim was later alerted by her bank concerning unusual charges on her card. Detectives discovered that 22 minutes after leaving the Costco parking lot the victim’s credit cards were used at a local Target to purchase $23,000 in store gift cards.

4/11/2016 - APSO Seeking Unknown Suspects Regarding Pharmacy Burglary

The Ascension Parish Sheriff`s Office is actively seeking information on two suspects who burglarized Ralph’s Pharmacy on Highway 44 and Germany Road in Gonzales shortly before 4 a.m. Monday morning, April 11.

According to Major Kevin Hanna, the suspects forced entry into the pharmacy and stole a quantity of prescription medications totaling nearly $400.

3/31/2016 - EBRSO Looking For Persons of Interest

East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office Detectives are looking for a male and female in reference to a robbery that occurred in the 9000 block of Tracy Ave on March 20, 2016.

According to reports, Uniform Patrol Deputies arrived on scene and learned the victim had been beaten and robbed of their belongings by an unknown black male. Detectives were able to locate two subjects wanted for questioning on a local business surveillance system.

Suspect 1 is described as a black male, thin build, 6’0” to 6’5”
20 to 25 years old, Medium complexion

Suspect 2 is described as a black female, heavy set build
 with blue or purple hair

3/29/2016 - EBRSO LOOKING FOR SUSPECT

East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office’s Detectives are looking for a white male that robbed the Subway located at 5830 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd. on March 25, 2016, at 12:30pm.

According to reports, the suspect entered the Subway then demanded the employees open the register while waving a knife. The employees ran to the back at which time the suspect jumped over the counter and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then jumped the counter again and fled on foot. The suspect was last seen on foot, northbound on S. Sherwood Forest.

The suspects is described as a white male;5’7-5’9; medium body build wearing a dark color pullover hooded sweatshirt; Blue jeans; Blue baseball cap with a design on the rim

3/16/2016 - ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY BASKIN ROBBINSSOLVED

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating an attempted armed robbery of the Baskin Robbins, 11222 Florida Blvd that occurred on March 16, 2016 around 6:30pm.

The suspect in the attached photograph entered the business posing as a customer as he sampled several flavors of ice cream.  The suspect then exited the business and then returned a few minutes later demanding money from the register as he lifted his shirt to show a knife in his waistband.  The suspect then fled the business on foot before obtaining any money.

The suspect is identified as a dark skinned black male, 30 – 35 years of age, 5’9” – 5’11”, 190 – 200 pounds wearing a black shirt with a black and white hat.

3/15/2016 - ATTEMTPING TO IDENTIFY ROBBERY SUSPECT

Baton Rouge Police Department Detectives are attempting to identify the individual in this photo who is accused of robbing Sally’s Beauty Supply, 6224 Plank Rd, early this morning around 8:45am. The suspect entered the business with a handgun demanding money.

The suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the business and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is a black male, 5’10”-6’0”, 170lbs, light skinned, wearing a red and black flannel pattern jacket, dark skinny jeans, red/grey knit cap, black shoes with neon green laces and black rimmed glasses.

East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office Detectives are looking for two men seen using a cloned credit card to make purchases at the Lowe’s located at 1777 Millerville.

According to reports, the suspects (pictured) each used the cloned card to purchase three $100 Visa gift cards.

3/9/2016 - SUSPECTS SOUGHT IN ATTEMPTED MURDERSOLVED

Detectives are still investigating a shooting that occurred in the 9800 block of Florida Blvd on February 20, 2016 around 12:30am. The twenty-five year old male victim was previously kicked out of the 5 Starr Daiquiris, 9842 FloridaBlvd. after a disturbance occurred within the establishment. As the victim was leaving, he was followed out into the parking lot by two suspects, whose photographs are attached to this release, who weren’t involved in the initial disturbance. A fistic encounter then occurred between the victim and the suspects prior to the victim being shot multiple times.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries, but since has stabilized and is expected to survive.

Baton Rouge Police Department Detectives are attempting to identify the individuals in these photos who are accused of stealing merchandise from the Best Buy Fashion, 1295 North Sherwood Forest Blvd, on February 4, 2016 around 6:45pm.

Three black male suspects entered the business and stole 12 pair of jeans valued at approximately $1,440.00 dollars.

3/2/2016 - EBRSO Seeking Public’s Help in Identifying Shooting Suspect

East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a suspect in a shooting incident that occurred on February 25, 2016 at approximately 5:40 p.m. in the 6000 block of Greenwell Street in which one man was injured.

The victim and the suspect were involved in an alleged altercation in a parking lot when the suspect allegedly fired shots at the victim striking him in the leg.

Detectives are looking for a black male that is approximately 6`5" or taller with a Mohawk hair style and driving an older model vehicle either blue or green. He possibly resides in the Glen Oaks area.

2/16/2016 - VEHICLE BURGLARIES IN EAST BATON ROUGE AND ASCENSION PARISHES

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office received several vehicle burglary reports located in Cypress Ridge subdivision and other nearby neighborhoods, located in Geismar between February 8 and February 9, 2016.

During the course of the investigation, surveillance video revealed that a male suspect, armed with a weapon, which appears to be a shotgun, is seen pulling on vehicle door handles attempting to burglarize several vehicles.

In one of the vehicle burglaries, a Smith and Wesson M4 high power rifle was taken from the vehicle.

It was learned that the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office had similar burglaries in January 2016 with a similar suspect carrying a shotgun type weapon in a subdivision in East Baton Rouge that boarders Ascension Parish.
